We went to Muir Woods yesterday, and it was a fascinating place to watch both the scenery and the people there to ‘enjoy’ it. It’s funny how different types of people choose to experience the surroundings, if they even do so at all. Perhaps the mere act of going outdoors is what really matters.
And well, speaking of nature –
Picked up the pen and doodled, and this happened. Perhaps I am longing for my Chinese painting studies of long ago. Or perhaps I am just realizing the peace that these painters felt when they made their art.
By some bizarre turn of events, my Munchcat t-shirt design was featured on RedBubble a few days ago — time for me to stop glossing over the e-mails from them! ^^;
Anyone who has known me for a length of time longer than is healthy knows of a little side project that I have abbreviated “LL” — it was a comic that I’d started drawing about my friends and myself back in high school, and it’s gone through some significant changes and transformations. After this many years, it’s still tugging at the back of my mind, so I figure that the story needs to be told at some point; I’m just not certain when. I suppose that I should just get writing and it’ll catch up to itself later.
